No previous singing experience is necessary — you will not be auditioned, and all parts are taught by ear, so you don’t have to read music. Nor will you ever have to sing solo - but you can always volunteer!
You are welcome to join us! The choir is currently about 60 strong, but we are always looking for new members. Ideally, it is best and easier for you if you join at the beginning of any term. It is harder to pick up the songs once the term is well underway. But if that doesn't worry you and you don't want to wait for the beginning of a new term, do just come along.
Where is it held? We meet on Monday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Sage Cross Methodist Church, Melton Mowbray, next to Morrisons.
What does it cost? The first week is free to newcomers. Thereafter it is £4 (£3.50 concessions) per week paid termly in advance. Concessions may pay half-termly.
