Choir members celebrate in style at the British Legion in Melton

Yes it's true! Global Harmony is 10. From it's early beginnings as 'Melton Women's Singing Group' Global Harmony has grown and developed into a more than sixty strong, mixed choir singing world music.

Members current and former joined together for a joint birthday and Christmas celebration in the congenial surrounds of the British Legion Club in Melton Mowbray on 14th December 2009. As we ate our 'bring and eat' buffet we were serenaded by the Springfield Jazz Band.

The tempo rose and so did the guests and they swung to the Charleston and the Jive with much (in some cases!) youthful enthusiasm. It was also a time to meet old friends and share an anecdote or two.

Many thanks to the organisers it was a great venue and great entertainment.
