Una May gave around 70 of us a most wonderfully liberating day of singing on Sunday, March 8th at Gloucester House, Melton Mowbray. Almost all the tickets had sold in advance - and I'm not surprised! Word had obviously got round that this would be a day not to be missed, and it surpassed all our expectations.

We sang Gospel, we sang Blues, we sang African, we sang Motown - and after 6 hours of high energy, movement and song we all still wanted more! Una May's incredible musical skills and expertise as a professional singer enable her to lift everyday voices out of their usual sphere and, inspired, reach for untold heights.  The sound achieved was incredible!

Thank you Una May for such wonderful songs, for your boundless energy and committment, and your irrepressible sense of fun that just sweeps everyone along.

An amazing day - watch this space - as we hope to book Una May again in the very near future.
